Jennifer Bader has experience both as a transactional attorney and as a litigator.
Her transactional practice focuses on corporate transactions and capital markets. She has significant experience in negotiating and closing IPOs and follow-on offerings, debt offerings, tender offers, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings, as well as in providing general corporate and securities compliance advice. She also advises investors with regard to debt and equity investments in small to mid-size companies. Fully fluent in French, Jennifer has a particular expertise in advising French and other Francophone companies.
Jennifer’s litigation experience includes securities litigation as well as commercial contract disputes in state court, federal court, and arbitration.
Jennifer began her career as an associate at the New York and Paris offices of Cleary Gottlieb, followed by several years as an associate and then counsel at DLA Piper. In addition to her legal practice, Jennifer founded and operated a French-to-English legal and corporate translation company. She holds certification as a French-English translator from the American Translators Association.
